Summer Happenings in Golden, CO are Underway

Life is in full swing here in Golden.  As I write, Mopar is setting up their annual street fair in downtown Golden.  We recently had our second First Friday of the Summer, and the farmers markets are in full swing.  The Buffalo Bill’s Days Festival is right around the corner as well which will offer activities, parades, bands, food and much more.  Here are a few shots from our First Friday Celebrations, and our Farmers Market.  We continue to see good activity in the housing market all over Denver.  Listings are sparse in Golden currently, but we are having success helping our buyers find homes here locally, as well as in other parts of Denver including Littleton, Arvada, Highlands Ranch and more.

Clear Creek fun in Golden

This has been a very warm June for Golden, and much of Colorado.  Temperatures have risen into the 90’s in the past couple weeks and that has brought many people down to Clear Creek for a swim, or tube ride.  This time of year, as the creek begins to drop, the tubers and swimmers come out in droves.  There is no better way to cool down and get refreshed than to jump into Clear Creek.  Clear Creek is a natural draw for folks from all over Denver, because of its recreational uses.  This time of year you fill find a combination of kayakers, tubers, swimmers, sunbathers, and plenty of dogs taking advantage of the cool waters of Clear Creek.
